Nashville native Brian Mansfield works as content director for Shore Fire Media, a PR company with offices in Brooklyn, Los Angeles and Nashville that represents Bruce Springsteen, Carole King, Elvis Costello, Kesha and many other clients in the worlds of music and entertainment.
Before that, he spent 18 years as USA Today’s Nashville correspondent. Additionally, Brian produces Opry Country Classics, a live radio show broadcasting from the Ryman Auditorium, for the Grand Ole Opry. He also served on the Country Music Association’s board of directors for four years.
A nationally recognized expert on Nashville music and its history, he has appeared on Nashville and 60 Minutes; shows on CMT, GAC, Fox News and MSNBC; and numerous documentaries and radio programs. As a teenager, he nearly ran over Minnie Pearl in the parking lot of the Green Hills Mall.
