The Brick & Mortar Bash
A Benefit for Historic Nashville, Inc.
On behalf of Historic Nashville, Inc. (HNI), I wanted to share a special thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored, or supported the 2011 Brick & Mortar Bash last Friday evening, May 20th, at Two Rivers Mansion. With nearly 100 people in attendance, from all accounts our inaugural Bash was a big success!
I’d like to recognize the hard work of everyone involved – but especially event committee members David Price, Cathleen Windham, and chair Laura Rost – who labored tirelessly to ensure the party went off without a hitch. And, due to popular demand, we’ve extended the Art Sale through June 6.
Proceeds from the Bash will help us achieve our 2011 goals, which focus on growing our membership, adding more programs (tours, after-work mixers, kid-friendly events, etc.), enhancing our external communications (namely a revamped website!), and strengthening our partnerships with like-minded, nonprofit organizations such as the Land Trust for Tennessee and Habitat for Humanity (look for a big announcement next month!).
