Steve Armistead has more than earned his status as one of Nashville’s truly visionary realtors and developers. A graduate of the University of Alabama School of Business Administration, Steve has 30 years of commercial real estate development/brokerage success in the Nashville area market. A co-founder of Armistead Barkley, Inc., and former Senior Vice President of Crosland Tennessee, Steve is credited as the founding development partner of the Gulch. Other development pursuits include the former Castner Knott Building in downtown Nashville, the Sony/BMG Building on Music Row, the 1101 McGavock St. Building (Whiskey Kitchen, Kayne Prime), Terrazzo in the Gulch, and the Bohan Office Building. More recent projects include Você housing development on Granny White Pike, the mixed-use, retail and multifamily 1000 Division St. building (The James) in the Gulch, Illume on the 8th Avenue corridor, and Linden Row on 21st Avenue South. An active member of the Nashville community, Steve has served on the boards of multiple nonprofit organizations.
