Connie Gee grew up in Nashville, received a BS and MS in Education from Vanderbilt, married husband Bob and moved to Oak Ridge, Tn., where two children were born. She moved back to Nashville in 1974 and started taking Nashville History classes and collecting Nashville History books. She taught 30 years in Williamson County. After retiring she worked for Belmont University and Gilda’s Club.
Connie has been very active with several Cancer organization and Co-founded the Tennessee Breast Cancer Coalition. After attending an HNI tour to Glen Leven, she became a volunteer at Glen Leven, an HNI Tour Committee member, Tour Chairman, and board member for three years. She researches Nashville history and places of interest on a daily basis. Nashville History and preservation are her passions, along with her four wonderful grandchildren.
